ABOUT ALLISON
If someone asks Allison when she started doing art, she will literally say “I’ve been doing it for forever.” Since she was little, Allison would never leave home without a pad of paper and a pen. Her parents can tell you the infamous story of her saying “stop the car!” when she forgot her drawing supplies.
PROFESSIONALAllison specializes in quick, cartoony work; teetering a fine line between humor, cuteness, and sensuality.
Her favorite artistic mediums to work in are pen, marker, and watercolor. She also dabbles in numerous crafts and hobbies like collage, ceramics, and photography.
She is a recipient of the CADC Student Conference Scholarship, two Silver Key Awards from the Boston Globe, and The Springfield Republican's Talented Teens in the Arts award, and a second place winner in the New England Newspaper & Press Association's (NENPA) Better Newspaper Competition for the Illustration/Infographics category.
Allison earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in illustration with an art history minor from the Hartford Art School in West Hartford, CT in 2012.
Exhibitions of her work have been shown at the Eastern States Exposition Home Show, MassMutual, Dane Gallery at the Indian Orchard Mills, The House of Art in Monson, MA, and the Hartford Art School.
PERSONALAllison lives in Northampton, Massachusetts with her partner Shawna and their two dogs, Cosmo and Phoebe. When not creating, Allison works full-time in communications and marketing. She loves to travel, dance in the kitchen, and drink milkshakes.
